Ned- Owner/CEO
Ned, raised in Oregon, is a self-made entrepreneur who began launching businesses at the age of 18. The inspiration for Nexus came during a backpacking trip through India with his friend Alex, where the idea of starting a cleaning company was born. Together with his brother Aleks, Ned helped form Nexus while also running other ventures. His vision for Nexus has always been about more than just business; it’s been about creating a culture that supports immigrants by providing livable wages, opportunities, and a sense of community.
Ned has cultivated a strong legacy within Nexus, emphasizing the importance of building lasting relationships with local businesses. He believes in going above and beyond for clients, creating partnerships based on trust, quality, and mutual success. This commitment to fostering strong connections has become a cornerstone of Nexus’s approach, making the company a trusted partner for numerous local businesses. In addition to his entrepreneurial spirit, Ned is deeply passionate about giving back, and philanthropy has become a core part of Nexus’s mission, reflecting his dedication to making a lasting impact both in the community and through his business ventures.
Aleks- Owner/CFO
Aleks, a proud Oregon native and PSU graduate, brings both passion and vision to Nexus, the second-generation family business founded by his parents in 1997. Since joining his brother Ned in 2018, Aleks has been a driving force in expanding Nexus into a thriving brand, built on the core values of hard work, family legacy, and a commitment to excellence. Having started his journey at the age of 12 by helping his parents clean churches and offices, Aleks remains dedicated to honoring their legacy while pushing the business forward with innovative growth.
An avid traveler, Aleks is also deeply committed to supporting orphanages worldwide, blending his entrepreneurial endeavors with a global focus on philanthropy. His passion for building a lasting legacy with local businesses is reflected in Nexus’s reputation for delivering high-quality service and fostering long-term partnerships. In addition to his work at Nexus, Aleks serves as the lead ambassador for FriendsForKids, a nonprofit organization focused on uplifting underprivileged children. Through his travels and philanthropic efforts, Aleks continues to blend his entrepreneurial spirit with his dedication to making a meaningful impact both locally and globally.
Nicole- Owner/COO
Nicole’s diverse cleaning experience, spanning over a decade in residential, business, and healthcare environments, has been instrumental in elevating Nexus’s standards. Her expertise in managing high-stakes settings, such as healthcare and senior living communities, has introduced a level of professionalism and attention to detail that sets Nexus apart. With a hands-on approach and a deep understanding of client needs, Nicole has been pivotal in the company’s growth, consistently ensuring that customers receive exceptional service.
Nicole’s journey from cleaner to manager, and now part-owner, is a testament to her loyalty and devotion to Nexus since day one. Known for her empathy and unwavering support for the cleaning team, Nicole is always there to provide guidance and encouragement, building a strong sense of trust and motivation among the cleaners. This has fostered deep loyalty to Nexus, ensuring that the team is committed and motivated to uphold the company’s high standards. As an incredible mother and a dedicated leader, Nicole continues to drive Nexus forward with passion, skill, and an unshakeable commitment to both her team and clients.
Celina Manager/CPO
Celina, our newest Nexus manager, brings a strong work ethic and passion for helping others, which has been a core value throughout her life. Having grown up in an immigrant family, she learned the importance of hard work from a young age. Celina began her career as a receptionist at a health club at the age of 15, supporting her family, and later worked as a nurse’s assistant before transitioning into nonprofit work. Most recently, she worked as an event specialist for a nonprofit supporting children in the foster care system.
As a devoted mother and bilingual professional, Celina excels in communication, which is a huge asset in working closely with many of our cleaners. She is also excited to help Nexus expand its FriendsForKids nonprofit, making a lasting impact in the community. We are thrilled to have Celina join our team and look forward to the positive difference she will make!
